About Regional
Company Background
Regional United Group was started back in 1996. Initially and for the first three years of operation, Regional was involved in selling water pumps and other related items. At this early stage, Regional’s activities such as management, sales, accounting and distribution were mainly dependant on the individual efforts of its founders.
Later, it started expanding, within the same mechanical field, into other type of pumps, engines, pipes...etc.
As the business, staff and experience, grew Regional also expanded into new sectors. New Oil and Gas, Electrical, IT-Telecoms and Civil departments were started over a few years, rapidly expanding Regional's business activities. The company structure and manpower also grew accordingly. At a later stage, Regional also expanded into neighboring countries such as UAE (Dubai) and Iraq entering into a new dimension of business where multiple markets and product categories are involved.
Company Objectives:
The main objective of Regional United Group is to provide its owners (investors) with the constant and moderate long-term return on their investment while maintaining a reasonably low risk through product and geographical diversification.
Company Operations and Staff:
The four courtiers in which Regional Operates are Kuwait, UAE (Dubai), Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. It has a staff strength of 75 employees in which the lowest job is a supervisor. Regional subcontracts all its lower skill jobs such as security, labor work and pantry to thirty parties.
Working Capital:
Some of the key resources of Regional are the sufficient availability of funds. It operated with its own working capital, fully financed by the founders who are running the company in top management positions.
